Yair is the CEO of the UIA NSW. He is immediate past president of the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies and served as Vice President of the Executive Council of Australian Jewry. Yair is on the Board of Trustees of the Memorial Foundation for Jewish Culture and has served on the NSW Parole Authority. He currently serves as an independent member of the Judicial Commission of NSW. He is a graduate of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem one-year Rothberg program and lectures regularly on the Middle East and Israel.
