Tarryn graduated from Moriah, then spent her gap year on the Bnei Akiva MTA program, learning much about Jewish thought, Israel and religious Zionism. Tarryn was Madricha at Bnei Akiva for two years and during that time she headed the junior division of the movement. A graduate in Primary Education, University of Sydney, she was a BJE (Board of Jewish Education) teacher for four years, taught at Kesser Torah College for six years and currently teaches Jewish Studies at Moriah College. Tarryn has two children, aged 2 and 5. Tarryn is presenting at Young Limmud.
