Melinda is an independent scholar, human rights lawyer, disability advocate and Jewish educator. She previously taught law at the University of New South Wales and was the Editor-in-Chief of the Australian Journal of Human Rights and the Director of the Australian Human Rights Centre. Melinda's concern is to engage in research and social action optimising social justice for all vulnerable peoples through law and policy development. She approaches her work as a feminist, Modern Orthodox Jew.
