Jeff was born in Cape Town, South Africa. He is a proud Jew and has enjoyed his career as a mathematics teacher for 37 years. He has a wonderful wife, Tracy, and a son, David. Jeff is a great admirer of Nelson Mandela, former Chief Rabbi Jonathan Sacks and Leonard Cohen.
