Antisemitism after Auschwitz

The tragedy of the Second World War and the Holocaust did not mark the end of antisemitism in Europe, in particular in its Central and Eastern sectors. Holocaust survivors faced verbal assaults and physical violence upon their return. We will look at some cases of postwar antisemitism in Poland and discuss why there was so much hatred that it led to pogroms and antisemitic campaigns.
